BRUSHES:
#12, #16 and 20 flat shaders, #1 liner and a Bobbie Campbell Blender

DIRECTIONS:
To start:
1.  Seal and sand the surface and basecoat twice with Deep Midnight Blue.
2.  Apply the basic design and basecoat as follows:

Jug: Cool Neutral

Cork: Raw Sienna + Yellow Ochre (1/2-1/2)

Crock: Mudstone

Top edge of the Rim: Sapphire + Deep Midnight Blue (2/3-1/3)

Blue Crockery Bowl: Sapphire trim on the rim:  Use the cork mix
3.
Transfer the interior detail.

Painting the design:
Jug
:
Dampen the area around the jug with water and then lightly spatter the jug with Light Cinnamon.  Before it spatters around the jug, lift them away with a large damp brush.  Let the spatters dry on the jug, then shade with Light Cinnamon and then Burnt Umber.  The label lettering was done with thinned Burnt Umber.  Highlight the jug with layers of Light Buttermilk.  Shade the cork with Light Cinnamon and then Burnt Umber.  Add a small amount of highlight at the top of the cork with Light Buttermilk.

Crock Chips:
Crock Chips are based with Mudstone + a touch of Light Buttermilk.  Shade the chips with Neutral Grey Toning and then with Neutral Grey Toning + a touch of Deep Midnight Blue.  Highlight the chips softly here and there with Light Buttermilk.  The #2 is thinned rim color.  Shade the blue edge of the rim with Deep Midnight Blue + a touch of Black.  Shade the rest of the crock with Neutral Grey Toning, then with Deep Midnight Blue + Burnt Umber (2/3-1/3).  The highlights for both areas are layers of Light Buttermilk.

Blue Crockery Bowl:
The Blue Crockery Bowl has the edges of the rim that are the same color as the cork shaded with the same colors - Light Cinnamon and then Burnt Umber.  The rest of the bowl is shaded with Deep Midnight Blue and then Deep Midnight Blue + a touch of Black.  The highlight on both areas is layers of Light Buttermilk.

Table Line:
The table line is a float of Light Cinnamon, then Raw Sienna.  Add accents of Burnt Umber here and there to warm a few areas, as well as small amounts of the Sapphire.  The reflected light on the left sides of all the objects is French Grey Blue – the trim line, ½” from the outside edge, is also French Grey Blue.

Finish:
Varnish and enjoy!
